A pedestrian wayfinding system for Convention center RAI Amsterdam.
RAI Amsterdam is Hollands largest Convention Center. Prior to the Covid-19 Pandemic the RAI was holding weekly events and large conventions.
Routes to entrances and wayfinding in the area changes almost on a daily basis. A new pedestrian wayfinding system was needed for visitors to easily navigate the large complex.
The wayfinding elements consist of large totems in a two way system. The top of the totem is seen from a large distance and navigates around the complex towards entrances. The middle section shows information about current events.
Due the Covid-19 Pandemic the project is put on hold, we plan to resume the wayfinding in the near future.
