The answer to the WhatThe­Font Type Con­test is: BigVesta Bold by Dutch Type Designer Ger­ard Unger, born at Arn­hem, the Nether­lands, he stud­ied graphic design and typog­ra­phy and type design in 1963 at the Ger­rit Rietveld Acad­emy in Ams­ter­dam. In 1984 Ger­ard Unger was awarded the H.N.Werkman-prize for all his typo­graphic work. He has designed over 20 type­faces which are used for many purposes.

    My only sug­ges­tion would be not to pub­lish the list of incor­rect entries—might be a lit­tle embar­rass­ing for those involved.

    Hi Brian, thank you for your com­ment. As you might have seen, the dif­fer­ence between Vesta and BigVesta are small. At the end of the com­pe­ti­tion there where 50/50 Vesta and BigVesta answers there­fore I’ve decided to give away two prizes.
