A friend had her father stationed in germany, He brought back several large paintings of Stelter, has anyone discovered any info since the last posting on this site?

More logs on the fire! While traveling to Vermont by the back roads of Massachusetts my wife and I chanced upon a yard sale. Few things of interest except for two small oil paintings of churches, which the seller said her parents brought back from Germany. One was at the edge of a lake with mountains in the background, the other by a river (or brook) from behind and the side, again mountains, those furthest being white (Alps?) No identifying marks except for the name Stelter. A tiptoe through the www, brought us no closer than this blog on the Neues Museum Nurnberg site. We would love to find out more. Good hunting!

I have a 5x7 painting from artist named P. Neidel(?) dated 1948. It shows the city of Nurnberg. It seems that it is painted on some kind of cardboard. Can anyone tell me about the artist.

I have two small watercolors that I have tried to find information for. The signature of the painter is Gttz and one is Nurnberg, Neutorturm and the other is Nurnberg, Bratwurtherzchen. More in German is written on the back of the backing board on one of them. I would be grateful for any information.

Add me to the Stelter list. I have one watercolor painting of flowers. On the back is typed Leipzig (from the framing shop, perhaps) and, in pencil, is the name “Paula Stelter”. Does this help in finding out about this artist? It is a lovely painting.

just happened to see this page I have a a inks, water color picture of the hangman bridge signed nurberg by w sholtz. it is signed in pencil. If it is an orignal it rally belongs in a museum. or it will get lost. It belonged to my grandmother who came from nurberg, germny many many years ago. it is about 8″ by 12′.

I have a Braun atelier P1 sterio system. It is comprised of six different components (stackable pieces) that sits on a podium. I know that this is a collectable item and can’t seem to find any data on it only that it was made in the sixties. I would really appreciate any help on this item.
